Behavioral Expectation Matrix
Our school-wide expectations are designed to create a positive, consistent, and supportive environment for all students. When expectations are clear and consistent across every setting, students and staff share a common understanding of what it means to be successful throughout the school day.
We use R.O.A.R.S. to define our five core expectations:
- Respect myself and others
- Offer kindness
- Always be honest
- Responsible decision-making
- Safe choices
These expectations are intentionally aligned with the 8 Leader in Me Habits, helping students build leadership, responsibility, and strong character across the school. The matrix below shows how students can demonstrate these habits in different locations throughout the day.
Teachers use this framework to explicitly teach, model, and reinforce expectations so students can apply the 8 Habits in meaningful, real-world situations across our school community.
